BPSC Publishes August 2026 Senior Scale Promotion Exam Results
Officers who took the promotion exam can check their registration numbers in the result list.
The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the result of the Senior Scale Promotion Exam held in August 2026 for Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) officers. Those who took the exam can now check if their registration numbers are on the list.
The exam is for officers who already serve in BCS cadres. It is not a test to hire new civil servants. The result list gives the registration numbers of officers who passed each paper.
On August 2, 2026, BPSC shared a list of officers who could take the exam and gave exam rules. The three papers were held later that month, based on the set dates. BPSC then checked the answer scripts and released the result.
The exam had three papers. The first was on Bangladesh and current affairs. The second was on laws, rules and steps used in all government offices. The third paper was for each cadre. Its topics varied based on the work of each cadre.
To check the result, go to the BPSC website at bpsc.gov.bd. Open the exam or result section. Look for the notice titled “Result of the Senior Scale Promotion Examination, August 2026, for Officers Belonging to the Bangladesh Civil Service Cadres.”
If the notice has a PDF, open or save it. On a computer, press Ctrl+F and enter your registration number. If the number is on the list, the officer has passed that paper.
The result is for BCS officers who took the August exam. It does not apply to job seekers or people who want to join the civil service through a new BCS recruitment test. Each officer should check the result for the paper they took.
