SSC Board Challenge Result 2026 Published, 3,079 Get GPA-5

The SSC Board Challenge Result 2026 has been published. All 11 education boards published the results at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

A total of 3,079 students have newly received GPA-5 after the re-scrutiny process. The information was obtained from sources at the Inter-Education Board.

More than 400,000 candidates applied for a review of their SSC and equivalent examination results this year. They submitted nearly 1.3 million applications for re-scrutiny of their answer scripts.

According to education board sources, 402,051 candidates submitted a total of 1,287,926 applications. Of these, 1,056,455 applications were for written examination scripts.

Another 231,471 applications were submitted for practical examination scripts. The figures cover applications made under all 11 education boards.

Re-scrutiny Process Includes Re-evaluation

This year's process included re-evaluation or re-scrutiny of answer scripts. Under the previous board rules, students did not have an opportunity for re-evaluation of their answer scripts.

The original SSC and equivalent examination results were published on August 10. The results showed a sharp fall in the overall pass rate this year.

The pass rate among the nine general education boards was 64.05 percent. This was the lowest rate in 19 years, based on the information provided.

The number of students who received GPA-5 also fell by nearly 19,000 compared with the previous year. This decline led to greater interest in the re-scrutiny process.

Across the nine general education boards, the Madrasa Education Board and the Technical Education Board, the overall pass rate was 62.25 percent.

More than 1.829 million candidates appeared in the examinations this year. Nearly 38 percent of the candidates failed to pass.

More Than 1.28 Million Applications

Online applications for re-scrutiny were accepted from August 11 to August 17. During this period, 402,051 candidates submitted their applications.

The total number of applications reached 1,287,926. Written examination scripts accounted for more than 1.05 million applications.

Practical examination scripts received 231,471 applications. The large number of applications followed the significant decline in this year's examination results.

How to Check SSC Re-scrutiny Results

Applicants can check their updated results in three ways. The SSC Board Challenge Result is available on the respective education boards' websites from 10:00 am on September 10.

Applicants can also receive the results by SMS on the mobile phone number provided during the application. Another option is to use the designated results website.

To check the result online, applicants need to visit rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. They must provide the required information to view their updated result.

The publication of the re-scrutiny results completes the review process for applicants who sought changes to their SSC and equivalent examination results.
