XI Class Admission 2nd Phase Begins Sept 27, Results Oct 1
Students who were not selected or could not complete admission earlier can apply in the second phase.
Online applications for the second phase of Class XI admission for the 2026–2027 academic year will begin on September 27. Students can apply until 8:00 PM on September 28, according to an urgent notice issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on September 21, 2026.
The second phase is open to several groups of students. These include students who did not apply earlier and those who applied but were not selected by any college.
Students who received final nominations but could not confirm their selection or complete admission within the set time can also apply. The same applies to students who could not complete admission because of an incorrect quota designation.
Students must follow the full application guidelines on the designated education board admission website. They and their guardians should check available seats before making college choices.
Applicants must select at least five colleges and can choose up to 10 colleges. Students should also check their quota status and select the correct quota based on their eligibility.
Class XI Admission 2nd Phase Schedule
The results of the second-phase selection will be published at 8:00 PM on October 1. Selected students will then have until 8:00 PM on October 3 to confirm their selection.
If a student does not confirm the selection within the given time, the selection and application will be cancelled. The second migration results will be published at 8:00 PM on October 4 based on the order of preference.
The college admission process for students selected in the second phase will run from October 5 to October 7. Students and guardians should complete the required steps within the stated deadlines.
No Tk 220 Fee for Some Students
Students who applied in the first phase but were not selected by any college will not have to pay the Tk 220 online application fee again. They will need to log in to the admission website and complete or edit their college choices.
The notice also asked students to pay the selection confirmation fee within the set time after the results are published. It stressed the need to provide correct quota information during the application process.
The decision to open the second phase followed a memorandum issued by the Ministry of Education on September 17. The urgent notice was signed by Professor Syed Aour Rahman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
Students eligible for the second phase should check the admission website and follow the stated schedule. Applications will close at 8:00 PM on September 28.
