XI Class Admission 2nd Phase Deadline Extended to October 1

The deadline for Xi Class admission applications has been extended to October 1. The extension applies to the 2026–2027 academic year. The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee made the decision.

Professor Munsi Humayun Kabir, College Inspector of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the decision. He spoke to the media on Monday, September 28.

He said the deadline was earlier set for September 27 and 28. It has now been extended until October 1. The move aims to give students more time to complete the process.

The official notice on the new deadline will be published on the education board website. The College Inspector said the decision was made after a meeting with the Education Ministry and the Inter-Education Board.

Why the deadline was extended

The extension will give more students a chance to enter the admission system. Professor Kabir said nearly 300,000 to 350,000 students are still outside the system.

Some students did not apply during the first phase. Some were later selected but did not complete their admission. The education boards want to help these students continue their education.

The second-phase application process was due to end at 8:00 pm on September 28. It started on September 27 after the education boards issued a notice.

Who can apply in the second phase?

Students who did not apply earlier can apply in the second phase. Students who applied but were not selected by any college can also apply.

The second phase also covers students who received final nominations. They can apply if they could not confirm their selection for any reason.

Students who could not complete admission within the set time can also apply. Those who failed to enroll because of incorrect quota selection are also eligible.

Applicants must follow the instructions on the designated admission websites. They must select at least five colleges based on their preferences. They can select up to 10 colleges.

Key dates after the application

Students selected in the second phase can confirm their selection from October 1. The confirmation period will continue until 8:00 pm on October 3.

A student who does not confirm the selection on time will lose the selection. The application will also be cancelled under the admission rules.

The second migration results will be published at 8:00 pm on October 4. Admission for second-phase selected students will continue from October 5 to October 7.

No extra fee for some students

Students who applied in the first phase but were not selected by any college will not pay the Tk 220 fee again. They must log in to the admission website to complete the college selection or editing process.

Students should also check their quota eligibility before applying. They should choose the correct quota during the application process.

Students and guardians must pay the confirmation fee within the stated deadline after the results are published. The education boards will publish the revised deadline notice on their websites shortly.
