Xi Class Final Admission 2026 Starts Today, Check Required Documents and Fees

The Class XI college admission process for the 2026–2027 academic year begins today, Sunday, September 20. Students selected in the final results can visit their assigned colleges and complete admission formalities until September 22, 2026.

The final results, including the migration result were published at about 7:45 pm on Saturday, September 19. Students can check their results on the central admission website, xiclassadmission.gov.bd. Results were also sent by SMS to the mobile numbers used during applications.

According to sources from the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, the admission process will continue for three days. Only students nominated for admission in this phase can complete the process.

Documents Required for Class XI Admission

Students should carry several documents when they go to their colleges. These include a copy of the SSC marksheet and certificate, the SSC admit card, and two to four recent passport-size colour photographs.

They should also carry a copy of the online application confirmation. Mobile phone numbers of both the student and a parent or guardian are also required.

Class XI Admission Fee

The admission fee will depend on the type and location of the college. Under the Ministry of Education admission policy, fees range from Tk 1,500 to Tk 8,500.

For MPO-listed colleges in the Dhaka metropolitan area, the maximum fee is Tk 5,000 for both Bangla and English versions. In other metropolitan and divisional cities, the maximum fee is Tk 3,000.

At the district level, MPO-listed colleges can charge up to Tk 2,000. The maximum fee is Tk 1,500 in upazila and rural areas.

For non-MPO and partly MPO-listed colleges, the fee is higher in some areas. In Dhaka, the maximum is Tk 7,500 for Bangla version and Tk 8,500 for English version.

In district headquarters, the maximum fee is Tk 3,000 for Bangla version and Tk 4,000 for English version. In upazila and rural areas, the limits are Tk 2,500 and Tk 3,000 respectively.

Proposed 7 Percent Quota

The admission policy also includes a proposed 7 percent quota for the 2026–27 academic year. Of this, 5 percent has been proposed for children of freedom fighters and martyred freedom fighters.

Another 2 percent has been proposed for children of officers and employees of the Ministry of Education and its subordinate departments and agencies. The remaining 93 percent of seats will be open to all students based on merit.

The merit list for these seats will be prepared from SSC and equivalent examination results.

Nearly 1 Million Students Applied

Earlier results show that 995,234 students applied for Class XI admission this year. A total of 980,815 students were nominated for admission in the first phase.

Students who were nominated in the final results can now complete admission at their assigned colleges. They should complete the required steps within the September 20–22 admission period.
