BANBEIS Educational Survey 2026: Data Collection Starts October 1
The online survey will collect information from post-primary educational institutions across Bangladesh until October 31.
The annual Educational Institution Survey 2026 conducted by the Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS) will begin on October 1. The survey will collect information online from all post-primary level educational institutions across Bangladesh.
The survey will continue until October 31, according to a notice issued by the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board on Wednesday, September 23.
Under the survey, heads of all EIIN-listed post-primary educational institutions will have to submit the required information through the BANBEIS online system.
How institutions will submit information
According to the notice, institution heads will need to visit the BANBEIS website and select the Education Survey 2026 menu. They will then have to log in to the online software using their institution's EIIN as the User ID.
The password for the survey will be sent by SMS to the mobile phone number of the head of the institution. The same password will remain valid for all subsequent logins during the survey period.

The notice asked the heads of educational institutions to provide the required information within the specified period.
What to do if there is a password problem
The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board said institution heads should contact the Assistant Programmer responsible for their respective district at the UITRCE, BANBEIS, if they face any password-related problems.
This will allow institutions to address login issues and complete the survey within the deadline.
Why BANBEIS conducts the survey
BANBEIS collects and processes information from educational institutions through its annual survey. The information is then used to prepare the yearly “Bangladesh Education Statistics” report.
The report provides important information about the country's education sector. The data is also used for planning and developing policies and strategies related to education.
According to the notice, information from the report supports various activities aimed at improving and expanding the education sector.
Deadline for the Educational Institution Survey 2026
The online survey will start on October 1, 2026, and continue until October 31, 2026.
Heads of all relevant EIIN-listed post-primary educational institutions have been requested to complete the survey within this period. The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board has also asked institutions under its jurisdiction to participate in the annual survey as instructed.
The survey process will therefore remain open throughout October, with institutions expected to submit the required information through the BANBEIS online system before the deadline.
