CUET Admission Test 2027 Tentatively Set for January 23

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has tentatively set January 23, 2027, for its Level-1 undergraduate admission test.

The test will be held for admission to the 2026–27 academic year. Professor Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain confirmed the tentative date.

Professor Kazi Delwar Hossain is the chairman of the CUET Undergraduate Admission Committee. He is also the dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

He said CUET has made an initial decision to hold the admission test on January 23. The university will publish the final details after a decision by the Academic Council.

The admission notice will include the application rules and eligibility requirements. It will also provide the test schedule and marks distribution.

CUET has already started early preparations for the admission test, according to university sources. The process of forming the admission committee is also underway.

The committee will be officially announced after approval from the Academic Council. The university will then publish the admission notice with full details.

The January 23 date is not yet final. Students should wait for the official admission notice for the confirmed date and other admission requirements.

For the 2026–27 academic year, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) and Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) have already announced their admission test dates.
