Dhaka Central University (DCU) Classes to Begin on September 22
The DCU First-year honours classes for the 2025–2026 academic year will start later than planned.
Dhaka Central University (DCU) has set a new date for first-year honours classes. Classes at its affiliated colleges will begin on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
The university shared the decision in a notice from the Registrar’s Office on Wednesday, September 2. The new date replaces the earlier start date of September 6.
The new schedule will cover students admitted to departments under three units. These are Arts and Social Sciences, Science, and Business Studies.
Classes will now start 16 days after the earlier date. The notice asked all concerned to make the necessary plans for the new schedule.

The change applies to first-year students in the covered affiliated colleges. Students should follow September 22 as the new class start date.
