SSC 2027 Test Exam Date Announced

The Dhaka Education Board has announced the SSC 2027 Test Exam Date. The tests will run from October 15 to November 15, 2026.

The board also said SSC exam form fill-up will start on November 16. It made the announcement in a notice issued on Tuesday, September 1.

The notice was marked as highly urgent. It was sent to all secondary schools under the Dhaka Board.

Schools must finish the selection tests between October 15 and November 15. They must also publish the test results within this period.

The order covers all government and private secondary schools under the board. School heads have been asked to follow the set dates.

A full notice on SSC form fill-up will be published later. The Dhaka Education Board will publish the details on its website.

Copies of the notice will also go to school principals and head teachers. The copies will cover all government and private schools under the board.

The move comes as schools prepare for the 2027 SSC exam. SSC exams were held at the start of February for many years.

In 2026, the HSC exams started on July 2. The 2027 SSC exams were first set for the start of next year.

The schedule has now been changed. The 2027 SSC exams will start on March 14.

Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A. N. M. Ehsanul Haque Milon said the change was based on views from students and guardians. He gave the new date at a briefing at the Secretariat on Monday, August 31.

Students should follow their schools' notices for the test exams. They should also wait for the board's full form fill-up notice.

The Dhaka Education Board will publish the form fill-up details later. Schools will then guide students through the next steps.
