Rajshahi University will start a new coding system for exam answer scripts from the 2025–2026 academic year.
The system will begin in phases. Six departments will get coded scripts and exam materials on Tuesday, September 15.

Professor Dr Md Hasnat Kabir, the Acting Controller of Examinations and Director, confirmed the move.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Faridul Islam will hand over the exam items to the six departments on Tuesday.

Each answer script will have a code. The code will be used during the check. The examiner will not see the name of the examinee.
Professor Faridul Islam said coded scripts are ready for all departments. The scripts will be sent to each department before its exams.
He said six departments have already given their exam dates. Their coded scripts will be supplied on Tuesday.
The new system will now start its phased use at Rajshahi University. The university said it will help improve trust in exam results.
