University Admission 2027: Know the Test Dates of 9 Universities

After the HSC exams, many students have started their plans for university entry. Dates are now set for nine major universities. Medical and dental tests may also take place in the first week of December.

The universities are Dhaka, Rajshahi, Jagannath, Chittagong and Khulna. The list also includes MIST, KUET, RUET and SUST. Students should check each university’s final notice before making travel plans.

University of Dhaka

The University of Dhaka will start its tests on December 5. The IBA Unit test will be held on that day. The ‘A’ Unit test will be on December 12. The ‘B’ Unit test will be on December 19. The Fine Arts Unit test will be on December 22. The ‘C’ Unit test will be on December 26, 2026.

Online applications can be submitted from November 11 to 25.

University of Rajshahi

The University of Rajshahi will start its tests on January 8, 2027. The ‘B’ Unit test for Business Studies will be held that day. The ‘C’ Unit test for Science will be on January 9. The ‘A’ Unit test for Humanities will be on January 16.

The preliminary application stage will run from November 12 to 27. The tests will be held in seven cities. They are Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Chattogram, Sylhet and Mymensingh.

Jagannath University

Jagannath University will start its tests on January 1, 2027. The ‘A’ Unit test will be held first. The ‘E’ Unit test will be on January 8. The ‘B’ Unit test will be on January 15. The ‘C’ Unit test will be on January 22. The ‘D’ Unit test will be on January 23.

Applications will open at noon on November 15. The application period will end at 11:59 pm on December 10.

University of Chittagong

The University of Chittagong will start its tests on January 29. The ‘C’ Unit test will be held that day. The ‘A’ Unit test will be on January 30. The ‘B1’ and ‘B2’ tests will be on February 3 and 4.

The ‘B’ Unit test will be on February 5. The ‘D’ Unit test will be on February 6. The ‘D1’ Sub-Unit test will be on February 8.

The B1, B2 and D1 tests will be held on the Chittagong campus. Other unit tests will be held at Chittagong, Rajshahi and Dhaka.

Online applications can be submitted from November 15 to December 10.

Khulna University

Khulna University plans to hold its tests on December 17 and 18. The ‘C’ and ‘D’ Unit tests are set for December 17. The ‘A’ and ‘B’ Unit tests are set for December 18.

The date is not final yet. The final admission notice may change the plan. Students should follow the university’s official notice.

KUET

Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, or KUET, will hold its first-year test on January 8, 2027. The test will be held in Khulna, Dhaka and Rajshahi.

MIST

The Military Institute of Science and Technology, or MIST, will hold its tests on December 18 and 19. The ‘C’ Unit test will be on December 18. The ‘A’ and ‘B’ Unit tests will be on December 19.

RUET

Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, or RUET, has set January 14, 2027 as a tentative test date. The decision came at a steering committee meeting on August 29.

The meeting was held at the university. Professor Md. Kamruzzaman, the committee chairman, confirmed the date.

Medical and Dental Admission

Medical and dental tests may be held in the first week of December. The Directorate General of Medical Education will set the date. It will do so after talks with the Ministry of Health.

The information came from sources at the ministry and the directorate. The date is not final yet.

SUST

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, or SUST, has set January 26 and 27, 2027 for its first-year admission tests.

The dates give students a broad plan for the next admission season. They can use the plan to set study goals and prepare for applications and travel.
