Vivo V80 India Launch Confirmed, Design and Zeiss Camera Teased
Vivo has officially teased the Vivo V80 for the Indian market. The company shared details about the phone through social media on Tuesday. It also opened a landing page on its India website.
The page carries a “coming soon” tag, but Vivo has not announced the launch date. The teaser also highlights the smartphone's photography-focused design and camera features.
Vivo V80 Design Teased Ahead of India Launch
Vivo's teaser shows the V80 in an orange colour option. The phone appears to follow the company's familiar V-series design language.
The rear panel seems to include a triple-camera setup with an LED flash. Vivo has also confirmed a Zeiss-branded rear camera system for the V80.
The teaser video describes the smartphone as a “creative partner”. This points to photography as a key focus of the upcoming device.
Vivo has not yet revealed the full specifications of the V80. The company has also not confirmed its exact India launch date.
Vivo V80 Specifications: What Leaks Claim
Recent leaks have claimed that the Vivo V80 could launch in India during the first week of October. However, Vivo has not confirmed this timeline.
The phone is also rumoured to feature a 7,200mAh battery. It could reportedly include a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with support for 3X zoom.
The Vivo V80 is also said to run Android 17 with Vivo's OriginOS 7 interface. These details remain unconfirmed until Vivo officially announces them.
Vivo V80 Expected to Succeed Vivo V70
The Vivo V80 is expected to succeed the Vivo V70 in the company's V series. The Vivo V70 was launched in India in February this year.

The Vivo V70 started at Rs. 49,999. It uses a 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone has a 6.59-inch VM9 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also offers up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
Vivo V70 Camera and Battery Details
The Vivo V70 packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water.
Its Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary camera. It also has a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
For selfies and video calls, the Vivo V70 features a 50-megapixel front camera.
The Vivo V80 is now confirmed to be coming to India, but Vivo has yet to announce its launch date and complete specifications.
