Xi Class Admission 2026 Applications Begin, Here's how to apply
Students can apply online for Xi Class Admission 2026 by choosing 5 to 10 institutions.
Online applications for Xi Class Admission 2026 for the 2026–2027 academic year began on Wednesday, September 2. Students can apply until 8:00 pm on September 10 through the designated admission website.
The process covers higher secondary schools, colleges, and equivalent institutions. It applies to institutions under the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Boards and the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board. Students can choose at least five and up to 10 institutions.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee published the notice and guidelines on Monday. Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman gave the admission details. He is the convener of the committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board.
The initial application fee is Tk 220. Students must pay the fee before completing the application.
Students whose SSC or equivalent results change after review can apply on September 12 and 13. They can also change their order of college choices during this time.
The first-phase selection results will be published at 8:00 pm on September 17. Selected students must confirm admission by 8:00 pm on September 19. If they miss the deadline, their selection and application will be cancelled.
The admission process will then continue from September 20 to 22. Classes for the new Class XI academic year will begin on September 23.
No admission test this year
There will be no admission test this year. Students will be admitted based on their SSC and equivalent examination results. The full process will be completed online.
The Ministry of Education and education boards published the Class XI admission policy on August 24. Under the policy, 7 percent of seats will be reserved under quotas. The other 93 percent will be open based on merit.
Students can submit preferences for five to 10 colleges with the Tk 220 fee. Each student will be selected for only one college. Selection will depend on merit, quota rules and the order of preferences.
How to pay the application fee
Students can pay the fee through bKash. They need to open the bKash app and select Education Fee. They should then choose XI Class Admission.
Next, they must enter their SSC roll number, registration number, board, passing year and mobile number. The required fee will be deducted automatically.
How to apply online
For the online application, students must first visit the official website at xiclassadmission.gov.bd. They should click Login and then select Sign Up on the next page.
They must enter their SSC roll number, registration number, passing year and mobile number. After registration, an ID and password will be sent by SMS.

Students can use these details to log in to the dashboard. They can search for colleges by code or name. They can then select their choices and submit the application.
Who can apply manually?
Some students can apply manually under special rules. These include children of expatriate Bangladeshis living abroad, BKSP students, and students with special needs who passed the SSC examination.
They must submit supporting documents to the board. The board will verify the applications and take the required steps.
The first-phase selection results will be published on September 17, followed by admission confirmation and the next stage of the process. Classes for the new academic year are scheduled to begin on September 23, 2026.
